Scott Ouellette is Senior Patent and Licensing Counsel at Hilco IP Merchant Banking. Mr. Ouellette has 25 years of IP law experience, including patent prosecution, portfolio development and management, IP licensing, and transactional work. Prior to joining Hilco, Mr. Ouellette was a patent attorney at Marquis Technologies and was responsible for patent prosecution and patent assertion at Rockstar. Prior to Rockstar, Mr. Ouellette was counsel at EMC Corporation for 9 years, where he was responsible for all IP matters within the company’s enterprise, mid-range storage, and flash memory divisions. He also managed EMC’s worldwide trademark portfolio. Scott has 10 years of private practice experience and was a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
